Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns teach men and women in our communities, without charge, to understand, speak, read and write English.
More tutors are needed.
A workshop to train tutors of English for speakers of other languages will be offered at the Warner Public Library beginning Saturday, October 14th from 9:30am to noon.
Additional sessions will be held on October 21st and 28th and November 4th, 11th and 18th.
It is not necessary to speak another language or to have prior teaching experience. To register, stop in at the Warner Library, or phone the Library at (914) 631-7734.
