On Mother’s Day the Singing Spring Sisters will perform at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside.

In a fitting collaboration for Mother’s Day, several mother and daughter pairs are joining together to create Artists-on-the-Hudson, an event at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside on Sunday, May 14, that welcomes families to spend part of their day surrounded by art and music in a tranquil setting along the Hudson River.

The event kicks off at 10 and lasts until 5, so visitors are invited to stop by before or after brunch, or to dine among the lush, whimsical landscape.

Food from Geordanes Market will be available. Picknickers are also welcome.

Participating artists include:

Margaret Leveson, Helene and Sarah Manzo, Costanza Baiocco, Kevin Cook, Lynda Fassa, Shelley Robinson, Ronnie Levine, Elaine Friedman, Crystal Stevens, Faith Butterfield & Phyllis Tarlow.

Also strolling the grounds will be the Singing Spring Sisters, who will perform period-appropriate tunes for the visitors they encounter.

For information call 914-631-8200 or visit www.hudsonvalley.org. Sunnyside is at 89 West Sunnyside Lane in Tarrytown, one mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge, off Route 9.
