Stone Barns Center’s Third Annual Harvest Fest

On Saturday, October 14, Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture will hold its 3rd annual Harvest Fest from 10am-3pm at Stone Barns Center, located at 630 Bedford Road in Pocantico Hills.

This year’s festival features Grammy-nominated Dan Zanes and Friends playing folk rock in the Stone Barns courtyard. Before that, Brooklyn jug band, the Jug Addicts, will take the stage to play Americana favorites. In addition to musical entertainment, Harvest Fest offers a variety of farm fun for the whole family. Enjoy hayrides, farm tours, and children’s activities including arts & crafts, storytelling, and face painting. Show off your farmer skills at the farm Olympics, then learn all about local and seasonal eating in the Resource Center. Get a taste of the farm at the community market in the courtyard, and strut your cooking talents in the seasonal pie bake-off. A special guest judge will decide which homemade pie takes the cake!

Tickets may be purchased online at www.stonebarnscenter.org, by phone at 914-366-6200 x100, or in person at the Stone Barns Center Farm Store (open Wednesday – Sunday 10am-6pm). For additional information about Harvest Fest, please contact Nena Johnson at (914) 366-6200 x112 or Erica Helms at (212) 649-5624.
