Locally — In Need of a Kidney Transplant

Recently River Journal became aware of the well-known radio broadcaster Warner Rush who lives in Scarborough. Rush, now 73 years old, had received a kidney transplant from his sister eight years ago and is need of another. His son Jamie sent  an email, and after speaking with him he gave permission to release this information to the public. Jaime has asked any potential donor with the blood type ‘O positive’ to email him at jamiewrush@gmail.com or to call Joan Kelly the Renal Transplant Coordinator at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC at 212-305-6469.
