Astorino Sworn In, Kicks Off Second Term with Open House

Inauguration of Robert Astorino, Westchester County ExecutiveCounty Executive Robert P. Astorino (center) was sworn in for a second term today by Judge Robert A. Neary (left) at a ceremony in his office on the 9th floor of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains.

Joined by his family, including wife Sheila (right) and three young children (left to right: Ashlin Grace, Kiley Rose and Sean), Astorino hosted a New Year’s Day open house reception for hundreds of Westchester residents. The event, also at the county executive’s office, was open to the public and sponsored by Friends of Rob Astorino.

“I represent every part of this county and every person in this county,” said Astorino following the ceremony. “Everything we do every day when we come to work here is to better this county, to make it easier for people to live here and raise their family here, and for businesses to open up and to flourish. So that’s what we will continue to do every day.”
