The Scarborough Presbyterian Children’s Center, or SPCC, is located at 671 Scarborough Road in Briarcliff. SPCC is excited to announce that they are adding a fifth classroom in time for the start of the 2010-2011 school year. This additional classroom will allow for two morning classes of 3-year olds and two morning classes of 4-year olds.
In addition to their large, bright classrooms, they have both an outdoor playground and an indoor play area, all of which provide a happy, loving and secure environment. SPCC is celebrating its 15th year as a developmental
pre-school serving families from Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Scarborough, Briarcliff Manor, Ossining and Pleasantville.
Some of the special programs offered at SPCC include: Afternoon Enrichment classes for 2-year olds with topics such as – Science & Sensory Exploration, Go-Green Recycled Art, and Cooking with Children’s Literature; Afternoon Enrichment for 3 to 5-year olds with topics such as – Sports and Games, Tae Kwon Do by UMAC, Classic Stories/Movie and a Craft, Science Exploration and Cooking; and an extended day Lunch Bunch program, where the children gather together for lunch and games. SPCC also has an eight-week Summer Camp program for toddlers to 5-year olds.
