Village of Ossining Launching CivicWeb

The Village of Ossining is launching CivicWeb, a new way to stay in touch with what the Village Board of Trustees, Planning Board, and other committees are working on. The portal provides instant access to agendas, meetings, and related documents before meetings and has an interactive tool to search for information on similar subjects from past meetings.
Since the beginning of the year, the Village has been actively working with technology leader iCompass Technologies to implement the CivicWeb Portal. In an effort to build a stronger community by improving the flow of information between government and public, the portal will go live on Friday, March 8 and may be accessed from the Village’s website,www.villageofossining.org.
There is also a calendar that will showcase public meetings for months in advance.
Users are encouraged to sign up to receive electronic updates on information of interest, which notifies you of any new developments.
The portal also comes with an advanced search engine that will help citizens easily locate Village actions and decisions. Residents are encouraged to access the portal by going to the Village’s website, www.villageofossining.org, and clicking on the CivicWeb Portal link.
