The Village of Tarrytown is pleased to announce that Lauren Cascone has been selected and appointed as the new Assistant Administrator for the Village of Tarrytown.
The Village reviewed applications and interviewed several highly qualified professionals. Cascone comes to Tarrytown with significant experience in local Westchester government. She previously served as Assistant Town Administrator and Deputy Clerk in the Town of New Castle where she has worked since 2018. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Buffalo and her Masters in Public Administration from Pace University. She speaks Spanish and has served as liaison to several Town committees including New Castle’s Sustainability Advisory Board. Cascone lives in Poughkeepsie where she serves on her Town’s Ethics Committee and Affordable Housing Committee.
Cascone will be replacing the current Assistant Administrator, Alissa Fasman, who will be relocating to Connecticut with her family. Cascone has been appointed by the Board of Trustees and will join the Village on April 22 at an annual salary of $150,000 subject to the provisions of Civil Service rules and regulations, including a probationary period of not less than 12 weeks and not more than a year.
