Running for public office is not for the faint of heart. It takes a special combination of commitment and grit to engage citizens and meet voters where they are. Fortunately, Sleepy Hollow has two highly qualified and energetic residents on the ballot this November. Meghan Raderstrong and Rodolphe Boulanger are running for Sleepy Hollow Village Trustees. Both candidates have impressive resumes that they can draw on to improve the lives of Sleepy Hollow residents. Additionally, they both have a demonstrated commitment to public service. Meghan is a long-time member if the Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Corp. Rodolphe is on the Sleepy Hollow Transportation & Parking Committee. I recognized something in both of them that reminded me of why I decided to enter Mount Pleasant politics 5 years ago. We are bound by our values of decency, common sense, and service to our community. After 25 years in the Valhalla Fire Department, and more recently as a member of the Mount Pleasant Town Board, I feel I have an understanding of my neighbors and this community. We have different ideas of how to get things done, but every one of us share the values of decency and common sense, and that is what Meghan and Rodolphe havedemonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Early voting started October 24th the election in November 3rd. Cast your votes for Meghan & Rodolphe!
I’m excited to work together as colleagues of the town and village.
Joe Bonanno
Councilman
Town of Mt Pleasant
