For the second year in a row, Main Street Sweets in Tarrytown has been named a Family Favorite Sweets and Treat Shop by Westchester Family Magazine. The family-owned and operated shop serves homemade ice cream made with premium quality, freshly made cream.
“Our family makes all the ice cream on the premises,” said one of the owners, Marlaina Bertolacci.
Bertolacci, her mother, Kathy Buonanno, and her sister, Corie, have been in business for ten years in Tarrytown and have recently opened a second location in Bronxville. They will create any flavor ice cream suggested, serve coffees and cappuccinos, and make homemade ice cream cakes. They also provide off-premise services for parties and community gatherings. “There’s a little bit of something for everybody,” Bertolacci said.
Main Street Sweets is located at 35 Main Street in Tarrytown. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 9 pm and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 am to 10 pm. For any questions, call (914) 332-5757.
