Two Days of Shopping, Holiday Music, and Crafts at the Hudson River Museum This Weekend!
This Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, admission is FREE at the Hudson River Museum, and over 30 vendors sell one-of-a-kind gifts and items at the Holiday Market from 12 – 5 pm. Lots to choose from, from handmade and vintage jewelry, to natural soaps and candles, to books, art, and more. Sweets crepes and hot chocolate available for purchase. Entertainments at the market include crafts – holiday ornament making led by Junior Docents, high school students that run weekend programs at the Museum, and music performances. The Cassatt String Quartet performs Saturday, December 5 at 1 pm. Join in on a family sing along with Matt Turk Sunday the 6th from 12 – 2 pm.
Also at the Museum: Exhibitions on view, Dancers Among Us: Photographs by Jordan Matter and Holiday decorations in Glenview, a 1876 river home; Programs include Dance Workshops and Performances; Star Shows at 12:30, 2, and 3:30 pm.
