Contest Winner…A Repeat
From Cover: Thirteen year-old Valerie Janos, a Tarrytown resident who attends the Irvington Middle School, won First Place at this year’s Easter Bonnet competition at the renowned Tavern on the Green restaurant in New York City’s Central Park.
She received a trophy and a $500 check for her efforts. Valerie also took First Place in last year’s contest as well. She’ll probably take her folks out to dinner with the prize money. Then again, maybe not.
