That’s because The New York School of Esthetics is a skin care school, and they are the only school in the area that boasts an Esthetics education exclusively.
Here someone can choose to have a procedure done by a senior student or by a licensed New York State Esthetician. Work done by a student is billed at a lower rate while being supervised by a licensed Esthetician. "At a spa, they will get you in and out in 50 minutes because they’re under a time constraint," said Sheeran. She and her daughter, New York State Agent and co-owner Kathleen Cassidy, focus on ensuring that their students receive the best education in their field. "The students do not cut any corners because they’re learning. There are really good treatments by students and our instructors are highly qualified," says Sheeran.
