A new jewel is now in Westchester: BEADWORKS®, a unique shop that combines today’s fashion with creative personal expression at an affordable price.

The shop sells a vast array of beads from precious stones to inexpensive glass and vintage plastic, plus findings and tools, and everything you need, or need to know, to make your own jewelry. Beginners enjoy the classes and helpful staff, while the designer program and Beading Society appeal to the veteran.

Located on Westchester Avenue in White Plains, just off I-287 across from Nordstrom, BEADWORKS’ convenient location draws customers from across the area. Free parking is next door at Stop & Shop.

Nancy Nygreen, a White Plains resident, is the owner. "I love the BEADWORKS concept, and I’m not creative or artistic. But even I can make a unique piece of jewelry to match an outfit, or copy a piece I’ve seen in a store for a fraction of the price."

BEADWORKS lives up to their tag line: make the jewelry you want to wear.
