Sleepy Hollow Democrats will deliver a better quality of life and economy for the Village.
On the other hand, the “Development and Revitalization” page on Unite Sleepy Hollow’s website has just one recommendation for Downtown: adding parking. That page goes on to, in my view, misprepresent the current administration’s handing of ongoing projects, saying things are being “blocked” and “unvetted proposals are being pushed through.” The reality is current officials are moving the Comprehensive Plan forward, at an incremental, affordable pace, with good public outreach.
Fortunately, the Sleepy Hollow Democrats’ plans go beyond parking. Their site offers a positive vision for improving walking and cycling conditions, measures to get vacant storefronts occupied, working with merchants to improve conditions, etc. And the candidates have the skills and track record that make it happen.
Similarly, the Democratic candidates shined in Livable Tarrytowns candidate questionnaire (https://livabletarrytowns.org/2025/10/20/responses-to-livable-tarrytowns-candidate-questionnaire/). No USH candidates replied.
