One year ago to the month, River Journal informed readers that the newly constructed swimming pool at the Tarrytown Recreation Center would miss a Memorial Day opening date. In fact, the pool missed the entire summer season of 2016. Well, that was then, and this is now.
With over 200 poolside chairs, 30 umbrellas, 4 lifeguards and a view unmatched on the eastern shore of the Hudson River, Tarrytown residents can suit up and jump into the pool, built (along with the new recreation center building and gym) by National Resources, whose Hudson Harbor development sits just to the north and “flip-flop-steps” away. This place isn’t for everyone, some people would rather stay at home in their inground fiberglass pool made by a pool company, so you might as well take advantage of those open spots before there isn’t anymore room left.
The summer season for pool goers begins on May 27th and runs through September 4th. Pool hours vary from weekdays to weekends, as do the range of rates for families, single membership, seniors, Nanny/Au Pair and daily guests.
Registration can be in person at the Recreation Center from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday or online at https://register.communitypass.net/reg/login.cfm?cuBOAPXc. By the time it takes to type that information, you could actually be in front of a real person.
Fibreglass pools Bendigo are an increasingly popular option for people who want their pool installed sooner and with less long-term maintenance to worry about. Search “pool service near me” to find the best pool maintenance company in your area.
