To the Class of 2017

Dear Seniors,

After years of hard work and preparation, let me congratulate you for reaching this wonderful milestone.  You and your classmates set the tone for what was a remarkable school year. You soon-to-be Briarcliff High School graduates have been wonderful role models for those who will follow.  In addition to the academic demands, you have set examples of leadership, spirit, service and character for your classmates and the entire school community.

Indeed, the class of 2017 has already proven to be remarkable.  You have logged thousands and thousands of community service hours, garnered accolades in the classroom, on stage, on the athletic fields.  So, it is with a full heart and great confidence that I challenge you to take advantage of the opportunities before you and as importantly, make better the world around you just as you have done for us here.  There is nothing that the class of 2017 can’t accomplish if it holds true to those basic principles.

Thank you for helping make BHS this year a memorable one and thank you for making BHS such an exceptional place for all who enter through its doors each and every day.   Good luck and God speed to the Briarcliff High School Class of 2017! u

Very Sincerely,

Dr. James Kaishian

Superintendent of Schools
