On Saturday, May 2nd, the Sleepy Hollow Legends Lacrosse Club’s 5th & 6th grade team put their undefeated record on the line at the Brewster Jamboree. Playing in the top division against 6th grade teams the Legends beat Putnam Valley 5-1, Bronxville 7-0, and Fox Lane 3-2.
After falling behind 3-0 in their final game, the Legends rallied back to beat Somers 5-4 on a
game winning goal from Harrison Halesworth to finish the day 4-0. The Legends defense was
stout all day, led by the strong play of Peter Zagrobelny (goalie), Zach Rudder, James McCoy,
and Kevin Sullivan. The offense was paced by Halesworth’s 10 points, and 5 more from Dylan Nel.
