“Music in the Park” Series Returns to Lasdon this July

County Executive Robert P. Astorino today announced the return of the “Music in the Park” Series on Fridays, July 10, 17 and 24 at Lasdon Park, Arboretum, and Veterans Memorial in Katonah.
“One of the most beautiful spots in Westchester is the rolling lawn at Lasdon,” Astorino said. “Gather your family and friends for what will surely be an unforgettable summer evening filled with live music.”

Table-and-chair seating on the patio will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concert-goers should plan on lawn seating and should bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. Food and beverages, including beer, wine, pretzels and hot dogs will be available for purchase.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Music programs run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or check.

The series schedule is as follows
July 10 – Gerard Carelli performs American Popular Standards
July 17 – Jon Doty and Friends play jazz favorites
July 24 – The Ridgefield Symphony Brass Quintet performs classical music
The program is sponsored by Friends of Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial. Members of Friends will receive a free ticket. Families with memberships will receive two free tickets. Anyone joining Friends the day of the performance will be eligible for these free tickets as well.
Lasdon Park, Arboretum, and Veterans Memorial is located at 2610 Amawalk Road (Route 35), in Katonah.
