According to Al Florio at the New NY Bridge information center in Tarrytown, westbound traffic across the Hudson River will travel on the new bridge beginning at midnight Friday, and by 8 am Saturday morning, 8/26, four lanes will accommodate all westbound traffic. The linkage from the roadway to the New NY Bridge is complete. Eastbound traffic will continue on the Tappan Zee Bridge until further notice.
