After 17 ½ years, Jeanne Reid, a reference librarian at Tarrytown’s Warner Library, retired December 31, 2009. Jeanne was responsible for adult programming including lectures, workshops, author talks and some musical events. A native of North Tarrytown, Jeanne particularly enjoyed hosting local history programs.
She also arranged the art gallery shows and coordinated monthly displays by local residents. A reception in her honor was held at the library December 28, 2009.
