Armonk Has Heart: Public Art Project Brings Color, Creativity, and Community Spirit to Town Ahead of the 2025 Art Show

The streets of Armonk will soon be filled with heart – literally! The Armonk Outdoor Art Show, with support from the Armonk Chamber of Commerce and the Town of North Castle, is thrilled to announce Armonk Has Heart — an exciting new public art initiative that will infuse the streets of Armonk with creativity, vibrant visual energy, and community spirit.

For the month leading up to the much-anticipated Armonk Outdoor Art Show on September 27 & 28, 2025Armonk Has Heart will feature 12 large fiberglass heart sculptures, each uniquely designed by a different artist. These engaging works of art will be sponsored by local businesses and will transform Armonk into an open-air art gallery.

This is the first-ever public art installation of its kind in Armonk, and it aims to inspire residents and visitors alike to explore the town, engage with local businesses, get excited for the Art Show and feel the heartbeat of this thriving, warm community.

“We are so happy to introduce this public art project, which will energize Armonk and build enthusiasm leading up to the Art Show,” said Nancy Rosner, Armonk Outdoor Art Show Managing Director. “Armonk Has Heart is not only about art — it’s about celebrating our incredible community, supporting our local economy, and showcasing the cultural vitality of Armonk.”

The heart sculptures will be strategically placed around town, encouraging residents and visitors to discover them all, share their favorites on social media, and experience Armonk in a new way. Maps and artist information will be available as time gets closer.

Exciting Fundraising Opportunity
In addition to inspiring excitement for the Art Show, the Armonk Has Heart project will also support a meaningful cause. The sculptures will be part of an online auction to raise funds for the North Castle Public Library. Throughout the month, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite hearts, with proceeds benefiting the library’s educational programs and cultural initiatives. Auction winners will be notified at the conclusion of the Art Show weekend.

“The online auction is a fantastic way for people to take home a piece of Armonk’s heart, while also supporting a beloved local institution,” said Liz Green, Armonk Outdoor Art Show Artist Liaison. “The funds raised will directly benefit programs and services at the North Castle Public Library, a cornerstone of our community.”

Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the Armonk Outdoor Art Show or a first-time visitor, Armonk Has Heart offers a fresh and meaningful way to connect with the community — and to count down to one of the region’s most cherished cultural events.
