Arc Stages announced their upcoming Next Stage production of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years, directed by Adam Pascal (Original Roger in Rent), starring Broadway’s Gypsy’s Andrew Kober and Lili Thomas. With Pascal at t
he helm, Arc Stages’ production of Jason Robert Brown’s beloved contemporary musical promises to bring fresh insight, emotional depth, and artistic excellence to this unforgettable story of love, ambition, and heartbreak. Performances begin Friday, September 25, and continue through Sunday, October 4. Opening Night is Friday, September 25 at 7 pm. Tickets are $32-$44 and available at www.ArcStages.org.
The Last Five Years is an intimate musical that chronicles a five-year relationship in two parallel timelines—one moving forward and one moving backward—between a rising writer and an aspiring actress.
The two-hander stars Andrew Kober as Jamie and Lili Thomas as Cathy. Both Kober and Thomas starred in the recent Gypsy revival alongside Audra McDonald. Additionally, Kober was recently seen in Broadway productions of Queen of Versailles, How to Dance in Ohio, Beetlejuice, Beautiful, School of Rock, and Sunday in the Park with George. Thomas is a Westchester native who made history as the first AAPI Mama Morton in Broadway’s Chicago and starred as Cynthia Murphy in the 1st National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen.

The Last Five Years plays the following regular schedule through Sunday, October 4:

- Saturdays at 7 pm
- Sundays at 2 pm

Arc Stages recently launched the Ticket Access Initiative, which provides subsidized tickets to those in need. Tickets may be purchased in person half an hour before the performance.
