The Transparent Accountable Government party (TAG) was started by former Mayor Martin Rutyna in 2023 because he saw a Sleepy Hollow government that needed to pay more attention to the basics, like fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and open lines of communication.
Three years later, his vision is becoming a reality we can all be proud of: we have a local government focused on keeping taxes low through smart prioritization, minimizing borrowing, and making us more resilient to fiscal stress—all while building our community to be a safer, supportive, and more affordable place to live.
Which is why I’m excited to support this year’s slate of candidates for Trustee of the Village of Sleepy Hollow—Patrick Sheeran, Rodolphe Boulanger, and Meghan Raderstrong.
An owner of a much-loved business in Sleepy Hollow whose family is deeply embedded in the community, Patrick brings a unique perspective and commitment to revitalizing our business community that helps the board make thoughtful decisions for the entire community. He understands the challenges facing residents today and is committed to a thriving, engaged community.
Meghan’s volunteer work with the Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Corp and our public schools makes her uniquely suited to focus the Village’s attention on increasing volunteerism in our community. We all win when we work together, and her focus on this area will benefit the community for decades to come.
Rodolphe’s involvement with the Village’s Parking & Transportation Committee and his thoughtful approach to problem-solving offers a path forward to many of the tough issues facing Sleepy Hollow as we grow and evolve in a changing world.
