Lifting Up Westchester , a local nonprofit providing life-changing support to people who have lost their housing or are struggling to meet their other basic needs, is now selling tickets and sponsorships for their second annual Benefit Concert, Lifting Up LIVE. This year’s fundraising event benefits LUW’s Youth Services, which offers local students the support and tools they need to succeed in school and beyond including tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment for kids from kindergarten through college. The event will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 6:30-9:30PM at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
This family-friendly event includes a varied selection of musical genres that will get everyone on their feet and to the dance floor! The event will include local brews at happy hour pricing, pub food from Captain Lawrence, and kids activities including face painting and coloring.
The event features three live performances:
Atomic Funk Project — World-class NYC musicians bringing horns, powerhouse vocals, and an electric live show that will have everyone on the dance floor.
Men or Myth — A NYC-area alt/pop/rock band blending classic and modern styles, known for their high-energy live sets across the New York cover and event scene.
The Barn Vultures — A Westchester County favorite bringing a mix of rock and roots-inspired music to the stage, with the energy that has made them a beloved part of the local music scene.

Lifting Up Westchester’s tutors and mentors provide individualized academic guidance, build confidence, and help students envision futures that include college, careers, and opportunities they may never have imagined.
