Tricia Nostrand Gonzalez

A mass was celebrated for Tricia Nostrand Gonzalez, a lifelong resident of Tarrytown, at the Immaculate Conception Church on June 24. In his homily Monsignor Mazza talked about God’s grace and love for mankind and drew a parallel to Tricia’s unending spirit of faith, happiness and love of family and friends.

imagesIn particular her radiant smile was remembered and that very image of her was later unveiled as a portrait of Tricia in the Church’s Hall.

Over 200 people attended the painting’s unveiling which in essence has captured the Tricia so many people knew, respected and loved. Her sister, Dawn, and her husband, Wil, both spoke about their recollections of life with Tricia and her indomitable spirit, one that saw the good in people and the one that made people feel good about themselves.
