Upcoming Events for Children @ the Warner Library

The Warner Public Library has received The National Endowment for the Humanities’ new Picturing America initiative grant. Picturing America provides an innovative way for citizens of all ages to explore the history and character of America through some of our nation’s great works of art.



On display (throughout the school year) are famous images of people, places, and events illustrating American history. Browse this display of beautiful reproductions with your children and experience America’s rich history and culture in a new way.

There will be Storytimes on a regular basis for children of all ages.

Bouncing Babies will be held Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m., It’s Toddlerific will be held Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. (you may attend one session each Wednesday), Stories & More will be presented Mondays at 4 p.m., Cuentos y Canciones takes place Fridays at 10:30 a.m., Saturday

Stories will take place once a month at 11:30 a.m., and Teddy Bear Storytime will also be held once a month on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Games and Crafts will be held either semi-monthly or monthly.

Craft Table will take place monthly on Thursdays, 3:15-4:45 p.m., Wii’ve Got Game will meet monthly on Tuesdays at 4 p.m., Library Bingo will be held monthly on Wednesdays at 4 p.m., Family Game Night will be held twice a month on Thursdays, 6–8 p.m..

Movies will be shown monthly on Thursdays (beginning in October), at 6:30 p.m..

Mondays, October19th, November 2nd & 16th from 4:30-5:15 p.m. Tail Waggin’ Tutors. Read a Tale, Wag a Tail, when Tail Waggin’ Tutors comes to Warner Library. Sign up now for your chance to sharpen your reading skills by reading to Angus, a certified therapy dog who loves kids and good stories.

*Sunday, November 8th at 2 & 3 p.m. Singing Harp. A storytelling theater company, presents the classic Golden Bird from the Brothers Grimm, with original harp music. Acting and story workshop at 2 p.m. and performance at 3 p.m. Please call the Children’s Room to reserve your place.

*Saturday, December 12th at 3 p.m. Hanukkah Puppet Show and Party with Jill Liflander. Bring the family to celebrate the Festival of Lights. All ages welcome. ©
