The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester’s Tarrytown Center celebrated the spirit of Thanksgiving with a complimentary Turkey Feast. The dinner, held annually the day before Thanksgiving, was open to all members and their families.
Volunteers cooked and served the food, which included homemade desserts baked by the Tarrytown Advisory Board.
The Center, which opened in 2002 at the Community Opportunity Center, currently serves approximately 600 children from low-income families. They make it a priority to serve hot meals for these children, not just at Thanksgiving, but every day.
