Satire that Skewers Small-Town Politics Is on Stage in Ossining August 8-17

Westchester theatre company GoJo Clan Productions will present award-winning play The Minutes at Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) in Ossining August 8-17. The pitch-black comedy, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts, asks, “What happens when history and the facts collide?” In answering that question, the satirical play skewers small-town politics and real-world power. The Minutes  exposes the ugliness behind some of our most closely-held American narratives and challenges us to consider what we would do to keep from becoming history’s losers.

As pictured here, the cast features (front row, from left) Stavros Adamides (New City), Armand Paganelli (had to leave cast, replaced by) Alan J. Cohen (Dobbs Ferry), Peter Green (Port Chester); (back row, from let) Brenna Rose Hughes (New York City), Kelly Kirby (Dobbs Ferry), Giovanni Pucci (Congers), Ari Mack (New City), Steve Plaushin (Hastings-on-Hudson), Maggie Kramer (Ossining), D. Scott Faubel (White Plains). Not pictured: Alan J. Cohen, Scott Schneider (Congers).

Performances run August 8 to 17, Fridays @ 8 p.m., Saturdays @ 3 p.m. & 8 p.m., & Sundays @ 3 p.m.
