The Parkinson’s Foundation New York Chapter will host the New York Chapter Parkinson’s Symposium on Saturday, April 11 at The ARK/ Shames JCC on the Hudson in Tarrytown.
Nearly one million people in the U.S. and 10 million people around the world are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD). About 90,000 Americans are diagnosed each year. It is the second most common progressive neurological condition after Alzheimer’s disease. The number of people with PD is expected to rise in the next 20 years as our population ages.
Join the Parkinson’s Foundation for the New York Chapter Parkinson’s Symposium. Attendees will learn about symptoms, treatment options and strategies to help navigate the challenges of living with PD. While each person’s experience is unique, the more you know, the more empowered you will be to play an active role in your care and manage your life with Parkinson’s.
We are excited to welcome amazing speakers from Parkinson’s Foundation Centers of Excellence at:
Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Julian Agin-Liebes, MD
Hiral Shah, MD
