Italian Heritage Festival Returns to Kensico Dam Plaza on Sunday, July 26

This summer, Westchester is trading ordinary Sundays for espresso, energy and unmistakable Italian flair. The Italian Heritage Festival returns to Kensico Dam Plaza on Sunday, July 26, from noon to 6 p.m., transforming the iconic setting into a lively celebration of culture, cuisine and community.

From the first notes of music to the last bite of cannoli, guests will experience the passion and pride of Italy in full color. Whether you’re honoring family roots or simply embracing your inner Italian, the festival offers an afternoon of connection and celebration for all ages.

Hosted by Nando Alpuche, the event will feature live entertainment by Pane E Cioccolato, special musical guest Ella Cristina, music from DJ Rocco Ruscito, food, arts and crafts, children’s games, dancing, exhibits and more.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The Italian Heritage Festival is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the traditions, music, food and culture that have helped shape Westchester. We invite residents and visitors of all backgrounds to come together for a day of entertainment, connection and appreciation of the rich Italian heritage that continues to be an important part of our county.”

Acting Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Peter Tartaglia said: “Kensico Dam Plaza provides the perfect backdrop for the Italian Heritage Festival, offering a welcoming gathering place where families and friends can enjoy great entertainment, authentic cuisine and beautiful surrounding. We’re proud to host events that celebrate culture and bring the park to life.”
