Irish Heritage Day Returns to Ridge Road Park

Join us to celebrate Irish Heritage Day on Saturday, June 27, from noon until 6 p.m. at Ridge Road Park in Hartsdale. General admission is $10, seniors/children admission is $5, children 13 and under are free. Parking is free.

Irish Heritage Day begins at noon; Mass starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by a day of entertainment, sponsored by The Tara Circle, Inc., which will include Andy Cooney, Tommy Flynn Band, Noreen and Mike Sherry, Lauren Tuffy, Patrick McClintock of the NYPD Emerald Society, The Irish Dance Company of White Plains, and Master of Ceremonies – Sean Ruane. There will also be activities for kids, food and drink available for purchase and a variety of vendors.

Westchester County Parks Acting Commissioner Peter Tartaglia said: “Ridge Road Park provides a welcoming setting for families and friends to come together and experience the traditions of Irish culture. Through live entertainment, food, music and activities, this festival highlights the heritage of the Irish community while creating an enjoyable day for visitors of all ages.”

The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed.

  • Jewish, Sunday, Aug. 16, Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla
  • Muslim Heritage, Sunday, Aug. 23, Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla
  • Arab-American, Sunday, Sept. 13, Ridge Road Park, Hartsdale

Irish Heritage Day is presented by the American Irish Association of Westchester County and sponsored by Westchester County Parks.

Ridge Road Park is located at 287 Ridge Road, Hartsdale.
