Even with days of advanced warning and preparation, the Villages of Irvington, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, and Briarcliff Manor were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy as she scoured her way across the region at the end of last month. When she finally moved out of the area on Tuesday morning, she left toppled trees, destructive flooding, and massive power outages in her wake.
