John Lenahan recently joined the Blue Moon Mexican Cafe. With his long time experience in running a neighborhood restaurant, management felt he would be a perfect fit to make their Hastings-on-Hudson location a winner.
John started in the restaurant business over 30 years ago.
He worked his way up through all facets of the industry and has proven himself to be a guest-oriented leader. He has managed restaurants on the upper west side of Manhattan and was instrumental in the opening of Rosa Mexicana in Riverside Square, New Jersey. During the longest stretch of his career, he ran an Irish/Mexican restaurant in Red Hook, a river town in Dutchess County.
John has 6 children who are all 4-H members. With his family he raises sheep and shows them at several county fairs in New York and New Jersey.
The goal of Blue Moon in Hastings is the same as all of its other locations. To be an integral part of the community where people dine but also come to meet and celebrate.
