Be a Host Family

The EF International School of English, Tarrytown, is asking for your help in welcoming our young international students to the US and Westchester this summer.

We are still looking for summer host families in the local communities for our students arriving in June, July and August.

We will be hosting a group of Spanish high school students (ages 13 to 18) from June 28 through July 26th. This is a great chance to improve your Spanish, introduce your children to another culture, and maybe make a friend you can visit in Spain!

Help us with international relations by hosting a student from France, Japan, Korea, Italy, Peru, Vietnam or Mongolia, amongst many others. Our students come from over forty countries, range in age from 13 to 70, and are here in Tarrytown from two weeks to nine months. A weekly stipend is provided to cover food and living expenses incurred for each student.

A good host family experience makes a world of difference to our students and their families. Speaking from personal experience, lifelong friendships are created and the world truly becomes a little bit smaller with the intimate knowledge of other cultures which you gain from your students.
