Author Sam Sussman to Speak at the Ossining Public Library

The Ossining Public Library and the Friends of the Ossining Public Library are hosting author Sam Sussman, writer of the acclaimed novel Boy from the North Country, for an author talk and discussion on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m.

Boy from the North Country has been praised for its vivid storytelling and deeply human exploration of identity, belonging, and resilience. During the event, Sussman will read excerpts from his work, discuss his writing process, and answer questions from the audience. A book signing will follow the talk.

“We’re thrilled to host Sam Sussman and give our community a chance to engage with such a thoughtful and talented author,” said Diana Lennon, head of Adult Services at the library. “His work resonates with readers of all backgrounds and contemplates the meaning and depth of family relationships.”

The event is free and open to the public. Copies of Boy from the North Country will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of Hudson Valley Books for Humanity.
