Kensico Dam Plaza will transform into a joyful explosion of culture, rhythm and flavor on Sunday, July 12, as the Hispanic Heritage Festival returns from noon to 6 p.m.
Festivalgoers can tantalize their taste buds with authentic Latin cuisine, browse vibrant arts and crafts, and enjoy engaging children’s activities throughout the day. From colorful costumes and folkloric dance to infectious beats and savory dishes, the festival offers something for every generation. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday—surrounded by heart, heritage and harmony in one of Westchester’s most scenic settings.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “Westchester’s diversity is one of our greatest strengths and our Heritage Festivals are an opportunity to celebrate traditions, stories and cultures that bring our communities together. The Hispanic Heritage Festival welcomes everyone to experience the music, food and customs that have enriched our County and continue to inspire future generations.”
Acting Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Peter Tartaglia said: “Kensico Dam Plaza is one of Westchester’s premier gathering places and events like the Hispanic Heritage Festival showcase how our parks bring people together. We look forward to welcoming families and friends for a day of entertainment, great food and cultural experiences in a beautiful outdoor setting.”
