Historian & A Movie: The Scarlet Coat (1955)

September 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free-advanced registration required.

On September 23, 1780, British Major John André was captured in Westchester County on his way back from a treasonous meeting with American General Benedict Arnold. In honor of that history, join us in the Gothic Chamber for “The Scarlet Coat,” a 1955 film based on the Arnold-André events. Our historians will give the real historical context behind the Hollywood take plus movie trivia. Free! Registration is recommended but not required. To register, email philipsemanorhall@parks.ny.gov or call 914-965-4027.
