Winner of the “Best of Westchester: Best Parade” award by Westchester Magazine for 8 consecutive years, the Tarrytown Halloween Parade, a beloved annual tradition is gearing up for its 24th year under the guidance of the Tarrytown Recreation Department. Tarrytown residents and visitors alike will converge on Broadway and Main Street on Saturday, October 24 for an evening of spooky costumes, creative floats, live music, and Halloween fun. The parade begins at 5:00 PM at Patriots Park and proceeds along Broadway and down Main Street. Please note that for safety reasons, spectators will not be permitted inside the park.
Due to the escalating popularity of the parade in recent years, the Village is encouraging all out-of- town visitors to consider taking the train to the parade from one of the neighboring communities. Avoid the traffic hassle and check out a suite of seasonal offerings in one of the Hudson River Towns before or after the parade. Use the Hudson Line train schedule to find the timing that works best for you. There will be a shuttle to run parade viewers up the hill from the train station between 2pm and 5pm on parade day.
