A Special Board of Education Election for two additional trustees will be held on Tuesday, July 11th from 7:00am-9:00pm at the Main Street School. Absentee ballot applications can be downloaded at www.irvingtonschools.org then click on the Special Election link, or by contacting the District Clerk, Elaine Cardea, at (914) 591-8501. Ms. Cardea will be out of the District on July 11th.
For residents not registered to vote in the District, a Special Registration will be held on Thursday, July 6th from 2:00-6:00pm at the Irvington Schools District Office, 6 Dows Lane or during regular business hours from 8:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Summer hours begin July 1st and are 7:45am-3:15pm Monday through Thursday and until noon on Fridays.
This election will increase the size of the School Board from 5 to 7 members.
