Welcome to the Rivertowns’ Jeanne Sottile and her company, Gal with a Trowel.

Jeanne, who grew up in Irvington, has lived in Tarrytown for the last 20 years. While working as an executive at Bloomingdale’s for the last 20 years, gardening was her weekend passion, with drivers and pedestrians stopping by her yard to admire her spectacular gardens and to ask for help.

When her children went off to college, Jeanne decided it was time to  follow her dream and become a full time Landscaper and Gardener… and she is loving it!  If you want to plant a garden, large or small, make some changes or improvements in your existing garden or just want  to change your landscape or simply put some color in your life, give Jeanne a call.
