For the third successive year, The Tarrytown Music Hall is working with CTown of Tarrytown & Ossining on an annual food drive to benefit Feeding Westchester. The goal of the initiative is to “Fill the House“ with enough grocery bags to fill all 843 seats in The Music Hall. Each bag will provide a family of four with a holiday meal this season. Westchester County has 200,000 people who are at risk of hunger or who are facing food insecurity
The suburbs have seen a 64% increase in poverty and hunger over the past 15 years.
CTown will have special in-store displays, making shopping for the items on the list convenient. The estimated cost is less than $25 per bag. Prior to the Sunday, November 18th performance by progressive rock band Renaissance, The Music Hall will be presenting Feeding Westchester with the collected donations.
Bags can be dropped off at The Music Hall during Box Office hours: Wednesday – Saturday from 12pm until 5pm. They will also be accepting food donations from 12pm – 7pm on the day of the Renaissance show.
