Marjorie Hsu, Sleepy Hollow Mayoral candidate, alongside Trustee candidates Cory Krall, Jared Rodriguez, and Jairo Triguero, will deliver an affordable, higher quality of living for families, seniors, and young people.
We will enhance our downtown so residents and tourists alike can safely walk and cycle to additional shops and eateries. We care about our entire Village and pledge to make all our neighborhoods safer and more beautiful, communicate meaningfully and regularly, and stabilize our budget.
An electrical engineer with an MBA, Marjorie spent her career as a telecom and tech executive, and now serves on multiple boards. Marjorie invests in people and places that inspire her. She has been Sleepy Hollow’s Planning Board chair and helped transform Edge-on-Hudson to become hundreds of homes and the beautiful Riverwalk. Marjorie was a Sleepy Hollow Ambulance Corps driver, and built pollinator and community food gardens. She serves on the Westchester Asian American Advisory Board and the NYS AAPI Commission.
Jared has spent two terms as Village Trustee advancing pedestrian safety, sustainability and economic development. His expertise in engineering, architecture, infrastructure, construction, grant writing, finance and development is invaluable to the Board. Jared’s ability to navigate NYS government, especially with regard to funding, energy and transportation, brings significant opportunities to Sleepy Hollow.
Cory, a bilingual, lifelong River Town resident, advises schools nationally on enrollment decisions to balance budgets and on family engagement strategies to improve communication. She and her husband have two children in the public school’s dual-language program. She volunteers with the PTA and supports many local youth organizations, including AYSO, TNT Baseball and Sleepy Hollow Lacrosse.
Jairo Triguero has lived in Sleepy Hollow for more than thirty years and is a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School. The son of Dominican and Colombian parents, he grew up learning resilience and community values that continue to shape his life today. For the past twenty years, Jairo has worked at Grape Expectations, managing the business for the last fourteen. Known for his ability to listen, solve problems, and build relationships, Jairo is committed to strengthening downtown, supporting small businesses, and ensuring Sleepy Hollow continues to thrive.
We are hyper-locally focused. Highlights from our platform:
- Clear, consistent, frequent communications
- Fiscal responsibility
- Downtown revitalization to enhance tourism experience and revenues
- More shops and restaurants for our families to safely walk and bike to
- Clean, beautiful, accessible Hudson River
Our future is full of potential, but there are serious issues that must be addressed, including restoring fiscal health. Over a decade of leadership, Unite Sleepy Hollow destabilized our finances and they will bankrupt our Village.
