CSEA Endorses Cait Conley for Congress in NY-17

The Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) — one of New York’s largest, most influential unions, representing more than 250,000 workers who deliver vital public services across the state — endorsed Cait Conley in the race to represent New York’s 17th Congressional District. CSEA President Mary E. Sullivan issued the following statement of support:

“Over the past two years, working New Yorkers have been squeezed by rising costs, while policies like the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ have shifted hundreds of millions of dollars in expenses from Washington onto New York taxpayers. Cait Conley will stand up for New Yorkers. Her military service and national security experience have shown she has the strength to take on tough fights, stand up to powerful interests, and deliver for the people she represents.”

Cait Conley, Democratic nominee for New York’s 17th Congressional District, issued the following statement:

“I’m honored to have the support of the Civil Service Employees Association in this race. From nursing assistants and social workers to law enforcement officers and higher education employees, the more than 250,000 hardworking men and women of CSEA are essential members of our communities. When I’m in Congress, I will fight for a more affordable future for the Hudson Valley and always be a staunch defender of the right to organize.”
