Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06) endorsed Cait Conley for Congress in New York’s 17th Congressional District.
“I’m proud to support Cait Conley for Congress,” said Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO-06). “Cait first answered the call to serve after the September 11th terrorist attacks on our country, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan like me to defend America’s freedoms and keep us safe. Now she’s stepping up again to serve, running for Congress to lower costs, clean up corruption, and fight for New York’s working families. Now more than ever, we need bold leaders with principle and backbone. That’s Cait Conley.”
“I’m incredibly humbled to earn the support of Congressman Jason Crow, a fellow Army veteran and someone whose career has been defined by service and leadership,” said NY-17 Democratic candidate Cait Conley. “We’ve both taken the oath to serve the American people and protect the country we love so much, and we know what it takes to lead when the stakes are high and failure is not an option. In Washington, Congressman Crow has worked tirelessly to deliver real results for working Americans and stand up for what’s right. That’s the kind of leadership New York’s 17th deserves, and it’s why I’m running. With his support, we’re going to hold Mike Lawler accountable for failing the Hudson Valley, and make sure families in this district finally have a representative who puts them first.”
In addition to Congressman Crow’s endorsement, Cait has earned dozens of other endorsements across NY-17 and beyond to include: Congressman Pat Ryan (D-NY-18), the Lewisboro and Pound Ridge Democratic Committees, the Peekskill Democratic City Committee, Westchester County Legislator Emiljana Ulaj, Chair of the Dutchess County Democratic Committee Michael Dupree, Cortlandt Town Supervisor Dr. Richard Becker, Lewisboro Deputy Supervisor Mary Shah and Town Councilwoman Julia Hadlock, Pound Ridge Supervisor Kevin Hansan, City of Peekskill Councilmembers Kathie Talbot, Charlie DiGruccio, and Brian Fassett, Village of Haverstraw Trustee Richard Sena, Patterson Town Councilwoman Gwen Dougherty, and national Democratic organizations like VoteVets, The Next 50, Majority Democrats, and New Politics.
