The League of Women Voters of the Rivertowns announces a Candidate Forum for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns School Board election. It is co-sponsored with the Horsemen PTA.
The Forum will be held in person on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Sleepy Hollow High School auditorium. Doors open at 6:30. The Forum is from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Six candidates will be vying for three open seats. The incumbents are Alex Fletcher, Ida Michael, and Amanda Wallwin. Their challengers are North Landesman, Kristina O’Gorman Murphy, and Liz Santillanes.
There will be no questions from the audience. Questions must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, by email to info@lwv-rivertowns.org. Please put “Tarrytowns Questions” in the subject line. Questions will be vetted by a committee of League and PTA members who will submit them to the moderator prior to the start of the Forum.
