Catch one last glimpse of wintering eagles before they leave for their northern home! Meet at the Croton Boat Ramp and be prepared to travel to other sites along the river. Red-Tailed Hawks
Did you know that red-tailed hawks are one of the most adaptable raptors? Learn some of the amazing ways that these incredible hunters survive around humans, even in some rather unlikely circumstances. Are you interested in helping injured or orphaned wildlife? Led by three licensed local wildlife rehabilitators, this workshop will touch upon everything you might encounter working with wildlife, teach you how to respond appropriately, and detail what’s involved in becoming a wildlife rehabilitator in New York State.
