On May 11, the Ossining Historical Society will present “The Ellis Place Heritage Tour: A Jewel in the Crown of Victorian Ossining.” This event will include guided tours that will take you inside a collection of beautiful and historic 19th century homes and describe the people who occupied them and the times they lived in.
The walking tour takes place on Saturday, May 11, from noon til 3 p.m., rain or shine. It kicks off with a noon reception and sign-in at Mahopac National Bank, 2 Church Street in Ossining. We welcome you to visit our newly renovated Ossining branch, meet our staff and receive a bag full of gifts perfect for the day’s events.
Throughout the May through October Ossining Bicentennial Celebration, we will have historical photographs, provided by The Ossining Historical Society, on display in our Ossining Branch. Every six weeks, new photographs will be on display. We welcome you to stop by to share in the history and wonder of this spectacular Hudson Valley village.
