“MUSIC FEST & FIREWORKS,” JULY 3 AT KENSICO DAM PLAZA
County Executive Robert P. Astorino will welcome thousands of people from all over Westchester County to commemorate our country’s Independence Day with live music and one of the area’s most stunning fireworks shows at the annual Music Fest & Fireworks on Friday, July 3 at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
“A night filled with live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show is a great way to celebrate Independence Day in Westchester County,” said Astorino. “Thank you to all the sponsors for making this celebration possible.”
Pre-concert entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and the Gerard Carelli Orchestra takes the stage at 8 p.m.; fireworks will follow at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Admission and parking are free. Carpooling is suggested. Concert-goers should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating as well as a picnic supper.
The Music Fest is presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by First Niagara Foundation with support from radio station 100.7 WHUD and the Friends of Westchester County Parks, Inc.
The Kensico Dam Plaza is located at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla.
