Westchester resident Eileen Fisher received WCA’s prestigious Edith C. Macy Award for Distinguished Service for her work with the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute, an initiative of the Eileen Fisher Community Foundation. The Westchester Bank, led by President & CEO John Tolomer, received the Corporate Children’s Champion Award for its support of multiple nonprofit organizations in the County, including WCA’s Westchester Companies for Kids initiative, which Tolomer co-chairs.
In her remarks at the event, WCA Executive Director Cora Greenberg noted the importance of providing a strong legacy today to ensure the wellbeing of children in the future. “Westchester Children’s Association is a trusted resource. As an independent child advocacy organization, we are uniquely positioned to find out what children need, build a shared agenda to address those needs, and then mobilize community members to see that they are met.”
